This photography project documents the protest by
the WiWa forest occupation, a group in Wilhelmsburg
that advocates for the biotope created by the 1962
storm surge and opposes the planned clearing of the
area to make way for the “Spreehafenviertel”.

For the feature story Omas for Future, I followed a
woman from Pinneberg through her everyday life,
capturing the connection between activism,
sustainability, and personal stories. The photo
series portrays the quiet moments of a generation
that uses its experience and perspective to
actively shape a more sustainable future.
