a sleeve and expanded into a digital dimension
through a custom-developed website.

BUILDING THE FUTURE
2023
The poster was created using the Risograph printing
process as part of a workshop at Studio Kat
Rahmani. It is based on Arabic and Persian writing
systems and combines the phrase Building the
Future with the political slogan “Woman, Life,
Freedom.” The project explores the role of writing in
the context of social and political tensions.
PROPE EXTINCTY
2023
The project was created using linocut and lead-type
techniques and employs a Latin script. The title
means “nearly extinct.” The bound booklet presents
new arrangements of the bones of animals on the
Red List, which are ultimately compiled into a list of
species. The individual fragments form a new,
surreal creature.
RESTLESS WATER
2023
This work was created using the intaglio technique
of etching and measures 265 × 390 mm.
Fine lines create a sense of restlessness reminiscent
of the movement of water.
NAEL
2021
This type design project illustrates the conceptual
and design development of a typeface I created.
The focus is on the experimental use of typography
as a design element. The project explores the
interplay of form, weight, and negative space, as
well as the effect of black-and-white contrasts.
